House markers available
The Willamina Fire District covers a large rural
area with hard to find driveways. There are
times when they can see the fire, but can't
find the driveway. Other times they have been
on a medical call, but can't find the driveway.
For a small fee of $10,the Willamina Fire
District will create a reflective house marker sign and come out to your house to
install it If you live in the Willamina Fire District and are interested in purchasing
a reflective house marker, please call 876-2004.
She said the speakers were "great"
and the subject matter "important."
The Tribe's Executive Officer Bob
Martin recently appointed Bowen as
the tribal Safety Committee's Safety
Officer. Sheila Elliott-McDonald is
the committee's co-chair and
Cassandra Scott is the committee sec
retary. Martin said Bowen is capable and
well trained for her current position.
"She has the expertise and train
ing someone in her position needs,"
said Martin.
"I would especially like to thank Jan
Michael Reibach, the former chair
person for the committee, for his time,
leadership and contribution during
the past few years while serving on
the Safety Committee," said Bowen.
