Call toll-free at 1-877-270-7867. -X Safety Tips while visiting the Reservation While visiting our reservation it is a good idea to be prepared and cautious. Here are a few suggestions to make your trip a little safer and more enjoyable. D Drive safely, watch out for other vehicles and road damage. During hazardous road conditions be especially careful (snow, ice, etc.). O Check with the Natural Resources office for possible job activity taking place on the reserva tion and surrounding areas (logging, road work, etc.). D Be aware of people using firearms near or on the reservation, always dress to be seen during hunting seasons, and be careful at the rock quarry of people target practicing. D Always know where you are in the woods. If not familiar with the area, stop and get a map from the Natural Resources office. Contact the local forest service office for roads in the surround ing area. D Do not harvest or eat any plants unless you are positive they are safe and edible.
