The Fish & Wildlife Committee will hold its annual
tag drawing for Bear, Elk and all Controldamages tags
on MONDAY, AUGUST 2, 1999 at 5:30 p.m.
The drawing will take place at the Natural Resources facility
located at 47010 SW Hebo Road, Grand Ronde.
Licenses and tags will be issued during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm). Licenses
do require an appointment at least one hour in advance. If you are unable to pick up your tag by the
established deadline please call (800) 422-0232 or (503) 879-2376 to make other arrangements.
1999 Tribal Hunting, Fishing 8i Gathering handbooks are available at the Natural Resources facility.
State Hunting & Fishing regulations are also available. Questions regarding rules may be directed to any
Fish 8i Wildlife Committee member or by calling the Fish & Wildlife Department at 879-2376.
COMPLETE ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER CATEGORY. Multiple applications will result in all applications
being invalid for that individual. CATEGORIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Bear; 2. Elk (Bow, 1st or 2nd
season); 3. ControlDamage elk (choose one); 4. ControlDamage Doe.
APPLICATION RULES:
Tribal members must have a current
tribal license at the time of submitting
their application.
Applications must be submitted by
12:00 noon on August 2, 1999.
Applications can be mailed to P.O. Box
10, Grand Ronde, OR 97347.
1 Applications not filled out completely
will be voided.
Applications for the general elk sea
son MUST CIRCLE their choice for the
first or second season. If both or nei
ther choice is circled that application will
be voided.
Tribal members under the age of 18
must posses a Hunter Safety Certificate.
Members 11 years old may apply for the
drawing if proven they turn 12 before the
start of the hunt they are applying for.
All tags must be picked up ONE WEEK
PRIOR (seven days) to the beginning of
the hunt (except general deer). Tags
not picked up will be reissued to the next
person on the list.
