YOUTH CREW LEADER
SALARY: $10.50 per hour
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8 to 4:30, for approximately 12 weeks
REPORTS TO: Fish & Wildlife Coordinator
DEPT.DIVISION: Natural Resources
CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY, MAY 14, 1999
Experience and training: Must be 19-24 years of age and reside in either Yamhill or
Polk County. Experienced in the proper use of hand tools. Must be in good physical
condition and able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Experience in natural resources
related work preferred.
Equipment needed: This individual will be required to furnish their own work boots.
All other safety equipment and rain gear will be furnished by the Natural Resources
Division.
Necessary special requirements: This individual will be required to submit to a back
ground check; a valid Oregon Driver's License and a good driving record is required. A
drug test will also be required.
YOUTH CREW

SALARY: $6.50 per hour
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8 to 4:30, for approximately 9 weeks

Experience and training: Must be 16-19 years of age and reside in either Yamhill or
Polk County. Useful experienced and training includes the proper use of hand tools,
the ability to work in rough terrain and experience or interest in natural resources
related work. Individuals must be in good physical condition.
Equipment needed: This individual will be required to furnish their own work boots.
All other safety equipment and rain gear will be furnished by the Natural Resources
Division. Necessary special requirements: A drug test is required.
These positions are designed and funded for the purpose of specifically providing
enhanced opportunities for youth andor students.

WATER QUALITY SPECIALIST
CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY, APRIL 9, 1999
To monitor, assess, analyze, and report the chemical, physical, and biological conditions of
tribal waters. To assist the Environmental Specialist in assessing and protecting the Tribe's
natural resources. Required level of education is a Bachelor's degree in the environmental
science, biology or closely related science based field. Education including study of aquatic
ecology, chemistry, statistics and sampling methodology is required. A minimum of one
year of experience with water quality assessment or aquatic habitats is required.
BIOLOGIST
CLOSING DATE: THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 1999
Assist the Fish and Wildlife Department in protecting, preserving and enhancing the Tribe's
natural resources by performing a variety of technical and skilled tasks concerning environ
mental protection and wildlife preservation. Required level of education is a Bachelor's
degree in biology or closely related science based degree. A minimum of 50 credit hours
in field of biology required. A minimum of one year of biology related work required.
Valid Oregon Driver's License.
TEMPORARY OFFICE ASSISTANT
OPENED UNTIL FILLED. Currently seeking applications for future vacancies. The primary
function of this position is to provide on the job training while providing back up support
to our tribal programs. This is an entry level position. Requires a high school diploma or
equivalency.
ON CALL, SENIOR VAN DRIVER
OPENED UNTIL FILLED. Minimum of 1 year of experience in related field required. First
Aid and CPR certificate. Valid Oregon Driver's License and safe driving record.
