The Petitioner, Ellen Louis Brew
ster, on behalf of the Applicant,
TIMOTHY MICHAEL LAN
GLEY, a minor child, has petitioned
the Court for a Change of Name for
the minor child. Applicant allegedly
desires to change his or her name to
TTMOTHY MICHAEL BREW
STJER, for the reason stated that:
Applicant's last name differs from
the last name of the parent or guard
ian and he wishes to assume the last
name of the parent or guardian.
Based on the foregoing petition
filed with the Court on November
2, 1998, and good cause appearing
therefor,
IT IS ORDERED THAT the peti
tioner and any person objecting to
the granting of the petition shall
appear in the Tribal Court of the
Confederated Tribes of the Grand
Ronde Community of Oregon, lo
cated in the Governance Center,
Room 106, at 9615 Grand Ronde
Road, Grand Ronde, Oregon, on
March 4, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. to
show cause why the Court should
not enter judgement granting the
proposed change of name.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that
any written response to this Order
by any party to this case shall be
filed on or before February 26,
1999. The Clerk of the Tribal Court
shall cause a copy of this Order to
be served upon all parties in accor
dance with Rule 14 of the Rules of
Pleading, Practice and Procedure of
the Tribal Court of the Confederated
Tribes of the Grand Ronde Commu
nity of Oregon and file proof of ser
vice with the Court on or before the
date set for hearing in this matter.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that
the petitioner shall cause a copy of
this Order to be published in the
Tribal Newsletter at least 20 days
prior to the date set for hearing.

cleaning of tribal
vehicles needed
The Confederated Tribes of Grand
Ronde is seeking bids from interested
parties for the InteriorExterior clean
ing only of tribal ownedleased ve
hicles. These vehicles currently con
sist of 6 each sedans, 2 each mini
school busses, 1 each truck, 3 each
large vans, 4 each mini-vans, and 1
each SUV. The quantitystyle of ve
hicles is subject to change as is nec
essary to meet the operational needs
of the Tribe. InteriorExterior clean
ing is to be conducted on-site and once
(1) a month on a weekend as to not
interrupt the day-to-day operations of
the Tribe. For additional information

INSTRUOIONSTO BIDDERS
Bid proposals shall be submitted in
a sealed envelope. The envelope shall
be addressed to the Tribe at:
9615 Grand Ronde Road
Grand Ronde, OR 97347

If the bid is sent by mail, the sealed
envelope shall be enclosed in a sepa
rate mailing envelope with the nota
tion "SEALED BID ENCLOSED" on the
face there of.
Bids must be received at the desig
nated location by 5:00 p.m. on Fri
day, February 26, 1999. Bids re
ceived after the time and date for re
ceipt of bids will be returned unopened.
The bidder shall assume full respon
sibility for timely delivery at the loca
tion designated for receipt of bids.
Oral, telephone, or facsimile transmis
sion bids are invalid and will not re
ceive consideration.
MODIFICATION OR
WITHDRAWAL OF BID
A bid may not be modified, withdrawn
or canceled by the bidder after 5:00
p.m. on February 26, 1999, and each
bidder so agrees in submitting a bid.
Prior to the date and time desig
nated for receipt of bids, a bid sub
mitted may be modified or withdrawn
by notice to the Tribe at the place des
ignated for receipt of bids. Such no
tice shall in writing over the signature
of the bidder. A change shall be so
worded as not to reveal the amount
of the original bid.
Withdrawn bids may be resubmit
ted up to the date and time designated
for the receipt of bids provided that
they are then fully in conformance with
these instructions to bidders.
REJECTION OF BIDS
The Tribe reserves the right to re
ject any and all bids, to reject a bid
that is in any way incomplete or ir
regular, to waive technical defects in
bidding, or negotiate with any unsuc
cessful bidder if no bid is awarded.
Native American Preference will ap
ply during the consideration process.
