JANUARY 15, 1999 11 L 1 ' 3,v Hi i u Ml d 1! I JVar Painl A lonely Indian warrior Left his mark upon the sand Where he fell in mortal combat, Quietly slain by an enemy hand. Mingled with his life's blood Colored bands of several hues Brilliant rainbow colors From the war paint that he used. Now a peaceful shepherd Great grandson of the brave, Finds a chipa bauble, Broken marker of the grave. A warrior's life Is not ended when The Good Chief calls him home, Nor is his life on earth forgotten, Etched f n War Paint on his tomb. -Anonymous-Submitted by Claudette Parazoo Year ends with "Tiny Tot visit with Santa This year the baby fair was held on Monday, De cember 14 at the Community Center.
