www.grandronde.org. This is a new site and new technology for most of us, as you will see that
some program pages are still "under construction." Don't let that stop you... there is already some
good information on the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission, Small Business Development, Human
Resources, and Spirit Mountain Casino.
On the HR page you can access the current job listings by clicking on "job listings," then for
"user name" type in your first and last name, and the password is "guest."

Native American meeting on Oct. 28
On October 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the monthly meeting of the
Oregon Native American Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Double
Tree Hotel in downtown Portland. The luncheon meeting will have special
speakers from the Governors office to include Al Nunze, Lydia Miniz, and
Shanna Waite. The public is welcome. For more information, please call the

Bingo fundraisers Nov. 17 and Dec. 1
"Welcome to Grand Ronde" signs is a community project that needs your
support. In addition to the $1,000 already raised, Bingo fund-raisers are
scheduled at the Casino on November 17 and December 1 to help raise more
money to furnish these signs. Suggestions are needed for design. As com
munity members, here is your chance to participate in some real "community

Coastal Hills Art Tour; Nov. 13 & 14
Begin your Holiday Celebration with a trip to the 7th Annual Coastal Hills
Art Tour in Willamina on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local artists and crafters will be showing their work
in downtown store fronts and individual galleries. Tour the historic Dr. An
drew Kershaw House where you will meet local published authors. Linger to
sip tea and savor fine pastries and desserts from Piontek's Bakery and the
Cheesecake Lady. Step back in time with a ride on an old fashioned hay
wagon to downtown destinations. On Saturday, the West Valley Country
Cruisers Vintage Car Show will be on display. Fine art, crafts, antiques,
music, and the hospitality of small town Oregon make this a "must do" in
beginning the holiday season.

The Tribe's Small Business Development Department is holding their fifth annual
Christmas Bazaar. The charge is $ 1 5 for a 8 ft. table and a donation from your wares
that will go for door prizes. Tables are limited to one per personfamily. Space is
