Chemawa Indian School, an off-reservation boarding school of approxi
mately 400 students in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a security guard to work

Highway construction

Hamilton Construction Company has an Oregon Department of Trans
portation contract to reconstruct five miles of Highway 20 near Eddyville,
Oregon. Hamilton is seeking (2-3) Laborers with the following qualifica
tions and experience: 3 years total of bridge work and experience in con
struction; ability to pick up and carry 100 pound objects at least 100 ft.;
ability to carry 50 pounds up a 20' ladder; and ability to pass a drug test.
The pay scale for Laborer is $18.43 per hour with a $7.10 per hour fringe
that pays for health insurance and pension. -
They are also seeking (3-5) Form Carpenters with the following qualifi
cations and experience: 5 to 8 years total experience in construction of
bridge work and rough forming; ability to pick up and carry 100 pound
objects at least 100 ft.; ability to carry 50 pounds up a 20' ladder; and
ability to pass a drug test. The pay scale for Carpenter is $23.44 per hour
with a $6.00 per hour fringe that pays for health insurance and pension.
The project duration is three years with probable winter shut downs.
