The Community Resource is look
ing for providers to give Foster Care
parents a well deserved break. Ex
perienced people are needed 4 times
a month which may include week
ends andor weekdays. The Respite
Care providers will receive $18 a day
per child. For more information,

brary of Poetry. Her poem, Forever
In Your Heart, will be published in
December. She dedicated the poem

Sacred Hide displayed
The Sacred Hide with Elders' hand
prints created by tribal member Jon
George, was put on display in the
conference room of the Health and
Wellness Center the only room
large enough for the Hide to hang.
Jon said he will create a "map" of all
the Elders' hands, so visitors to the
clinic will be able to tell who is who.
The hand prints of 103 Grand Ronde
Elders are featured on the Hide.
