Joyce Surface, a Warm Springs
tribal member, has recentiy joined the
Contract Health team at the Health and
Wellness Center. When you call with
your billing questions, you may
speak with her about your insurance.
Joyce worked for the Wellness Cen
ter at Warm Springs for five years,
and applied with Grand Ronde be
cause she needed a "change of scene"
from living a Central Oregon and
wanted to take her career in a differ
ent direction. She said the work she
is doing is very similar, but the com
puter system is different. She began
working for the Tribe on June 1.
She said, "I love the work I do. I
love talking to people and helping
people."
