Natural Resources
The Fish & Wildlife Committee will
hold its annual tag drawings for Bear,
Elk and all ControlDamage tags on
Monday, August 3, 1998. The draw
ing will be held at the Natural Resources
Division building located at 4701 0 SW
Hebo Road, Grand Ronde. The draw
ing will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The Fish & Wildlife Department will
issue hunting & fishing licenses dur
ing regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Monday through Friday
(closed from 1 2:00 and 1 :00 for lunch).
It is required that you call to make an
appointment at least one hour before
your arrival.

Natural Resources Division. State
Hunting and Fishing Regulations are
also available. Questions regarding
rules may be directed to any Fish and
Wildlife Committee member or you may

2376. TAG APPLICATION RULES:
Tag drawing applications must be sub
mitted by 12:00 noon on August 3,
1 998. Applications not received by the
deadline will be disqualified-" "" -Applications
not filled out completely
will be voided.
Applications for the general elk sea
son MUST CIRCLE their choice for the
first or second season. If both or nei
ther choice is circled that application
will be disqualified.
Tags must be picked up 7 DAYS prior
to the start of each hunt with the ex
ception of general deer, muzzleloader
and bow deer. Tags not picked up will
be offered to the next person on the
alternate list.
Hunter return cards must be filled out
COMPLETELY and SIGNED.
Hunter return cards MUST BE RE
TURNED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE
LAST DAY OF HUNT. Failure to re
turn cards will result in a minimum of a
one year suspension.
Tribal members between the ages of
12 and 18 must have a valid Hunter
Safety Certificate. Members 11 years
of age may apply for drawings provided
they turn 1 2 prior to the start of hunt.
Complete only one application per cat
egory. Multiple applications will result
in all applications being invalid for that
individual. Categories are as follows:
1) Bear
2) Elk (Bow, 1st or 2nd)
3) ControlDamage Elk (one)
4) ControlDamage Doe
