Remember, eligibility for an award amount cannot be determined if you have not turned in your Financial Aid information. Spring TermSemester 1998 Grade Reports are due! Thank you to the students who have submitted grade reports in a timely manner. Marion Mercier will be out of the office on July 13 to July 27. If you need to contact the office please leave messages or questions with Hollie Larsen, Division Secretary. Education offices will be closed July 22-24 for a planning retreat. Message to new and continuing students The Tribal Education Program have set ceiling amounts on financial aid. The ceiling amount does not cover all of the costs of an annual education budget, (tuition, fees, books, room and board, misc.). Students are encour aged to seek and complete as many scholarship applications as you possibly can. We are seeing less and less federal grant monies being allocated out to students while more and more loan recommendations on the budget forms. The program does all it can to help students so they do not have to take out the loans but, as stated earlier, the program cannot cover all the costs. Good places to do scholarship research is at the Counseling and Advising Center at your school, on the computers, or at the library. Good luck and call the Education Division if we can assist you in any way. Adult program plans fall activities for families Council actions Council elections are over.
