The Tribe's Culture and Heritage Society's Language Program began its Chinook (Jargon)
Core Group in May. This group consists of 15 tribal members and their families. Language
Specialist Tony A. Johnson hopes members of the Core Group will become role models for
language use and possibly teachers for community-wide classes planned in the future.
