Sponsorships to pay summer camp fees The Education Program has fifteen Summer Sponsorships available for tribal youth in Kindergarten through 12th grades. The maximum amount per sponsorship is $200, which cov ers registration costs only. The Sum mer Sponsorships is a program de signed to help in the cost to attend summer camps to promote success in school and life experiences. In or der to apply please send the follow ing: a letter from your child's school verifying heshe is enrolled in the current academic year; a personal letter from the student stating why he or she would like to attend camp and how it would enhance their educa tion; and information on camp cost tuition in the form of a brochure or registration form. Sponsorships will be awarded on a first comefirst serve basis with the completion of the above criteria. Qxnn3(TTTT-te07Tr' Elder Housing meetings scheduled Design work is now underway for the Elder community planned for Grand Ronde. The following meetings will be held at the Grand Ronde Community Center. The architect will present the work that he has done to date. REVIEW OF MASTER PLAN DESIGN ALTERNATIVES: These first meetings will review the alternatives for the overall master plan for the site. The information presented will be the same for each of the three meetings. May 20 at 1 p.m. Elder mealsite group review for all Elders. May 20 at 3 p.m. Elder applicant group review for all Elders with appli cations on the waiting list. May 20 at 7 p.m. Community review for all interested tribal members. REVIEW OF SCHEMATIC DESIGN FOR RENTAL UNITS: This next round of meetings as scheduled below will review the designs for the individual rental units that will initially be built. The information pre sented will also be the same for each of the three meetings. June 15 at 3 p.m. Elder applicant group review for all Elders with appli cations on the waiting list. June 15 at 7 p.m. Community review for all interested tribal members. June 16 at 1 p.m. Elder mealsite group review for all Elders. The evening community meetings are planned for all tribal members who are interested but who do not participate in the Elder meals, or who are not on the Housing Authority's waiting list for Elder housing. You will want to attend these evening meetings if you would like to offer your ideas and re ceive information about the plans. If you would like to offer your ideas but cannot attend the meetings, you may call the Housing Authority.
