NOTICE TO DEFENDANT
You are hereby given notice that a Small Claim
has been filed against you in this Court and that you
have 21 days from the first publication of this Notice
to file an Answer to the Claim. You may obtain a
copy of the Claim by requesting it in writing from
the Court Clerk.
In the event no Answer is filed within 21 days of
the first publication of this Notice, the Claimant may
apply to the Court for an Order of Default and Judg
ment as requested in the Claim.

In the Matter of:
William Jack Warren, PETITIONER.
DECREE CHANGING NAME
CASE NO.: C-98-02-001
Based on the allegations set forth in the petition
for change of name filed by the petitioner in the
above entitled case and its supporting affidavit, THE
COURT FINDS: ,
1. The petitioner is over 18 years of age;
2. The petitioner is an enrolled member of the
Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Commu
nity of Oregon;
3. The petitioner has not petitioned and been
granted a change of name by the Tribal Court within
the past twelve (12) months;
4. All persons entitled to notice have been prop
erly served with a copy of the Notice for Name
Change, and;
5. No objection to the petition has been filed by
any creditor or former spouse of the petitioner.
Based on the foregoing findings THE COURT
DECREES:
1. That the name of the petitioner be changed
from William Jack Warren to Geronimo Swift
Eagle Warren;
2. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall cause
a copy of this order to be published in the Tribal
Newspaper;
3. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall submit
a certified copy of this order to the Tribal Enroll
ment office;
4. That the petitioner shall surrender all old Tribal
Identification cards bearing petitioner's former name
to the Tribal Enrollment office prior to the Enroll
ment office issuing petitioner new Tribal Identifica
tion cards bearing the petitioner's new name;
5. That within sixty (60) days from the date of
this order the Tribal Enrollment staff and if neces
sary the Tribal Enrollment Committee shall cause
new Tribal Identification cards to be issued to peti
tioner showing the new name of the Tribal member
and shall change the official membership roll and all
official enrollment records of the Tribe to reflect
the petitioner's new name as stated in this Decree;
6. That the Oregon Department of Vital Statistics
is authorized to issue a new birth certificate to peti
tioner in such form as to indicate that his new name
is fiernnimo Swift Eagle Warren.

SALARY: $10.00 per hour

CLOSING DATE: SUNDAY, MAY 31, 1998
Interested applicants must be between the ages of
1 9-24 and reside in either Yamhill or Polk County.
Useful experience and training includes the proper
use of hand tools, the ability to work in rough ter
rain, and experience or interest in natural resource
related work. This individual must be in good physi
cal condition and provide their own work boots.
Rain gear and safety equipment will be furnished
by the Natural Resources Division. Responsibili
ties include supervision of a six person work crew.
Applicants will be required to submit to a back
ground check and a drug test. A valid driver's li
cense and good driving record is also required.
Youth Crew positions are designed and funded for
the purpose of specifically providing enhanced op
portunities for youth andor students.
