Tuesday, December 2 was the last class session in the ten-week class, "Starting a Successful Business." The class was officially concluded on Friday evening with a graduation ceremony and dinner held at the com munity center. Out of the eleven participants, six completed their business plans and received a certificate of completion. The participants included (pictured from left): Shelley Hanson (Instructor), Ray Bunker, Vivian DeMary, Winema Wolf, Melody Norwood, and Rae and Deitz Peters. Not pictured are Kathy Ebensteiner, Dale and Holly Hester, and Diana and Jim Klopmeyer. Also attending graduation was Audrey Campbell from ONABEN. The Small Business Development Division are very proud of all of the participants and send out our personal congratulations on a job well done. And of course, we wish you success with all of your entrepreneurial endeavors and look forward to seeing your new businesses. Small Business Development and ONABEN presents: WHAT: This is a class designed to "DIS COVER" Tribal and local entrepreneurs and encourage the development of your business idea BEYOND "JUST AN IDEA." These classes are presented by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Small Business Devel opment Center and OBABEN. WHERE: Classes will be held at the Tribe's Small Business Development Center located at 28840 Salmon River Highway in Grand Ronde. Interested persons should plan on at ONLY ONE of the two Discovery WHEN: tending classes FEBRUARY 17 and 19 from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. WHAT: A ten-week series of classes designed to guide participants through the BUSINESS PLAN WRITING PROCESS. The course materials and in dividual counseling sessions allow participants to work through the BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS. The end result is a comprehensive business plan that can be taken to financial institutions for loan consideration! This is an accredited class.
