SMOKE SIGNALS BMOH B(DH0tBB Q Unique marketing opportunity offered through ONABEN Free seminar open to everyone The OregonWashington Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO), a program of ONABEN, plans to host a free evening Marketing Training Seminar at the Grand Ronde Small Business Development Center on October 14, 1997 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Sonya Tetnowski, OWBO's Program Coordinator, invites anyone interested in starting a business, or improving the per formance of an existing business to attend this seminar. Space is limited, and pre-reg-istration is preferred but not required. The seminar will be conducted by Gus Kostopulos, owner of Kostopulos Market ing Group. Gus is a nationally recognized marketing professional-who has assisted hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses in their efforts to increase sales and maxi mize profitability. According to Tetnowski, "Gus is a 'nuts and bolts' kind of consultant, delivering practical and immediately useful information and tips to his clients." She says, "People who attend this marketing seminar will be glad they did, because they will learn many simple, affordable, and effective marketing strategies they can implement right away." This free seminar will complete the cycle for the 20 "Venture Out!" participants, who through this program will develop six ven ture team businesses (cooperative busi nesses).
