First residents move into Grand Meadows
By Kim Mueller
Carl and Betty Lambert are finally back home! After mov
ing away from the Grand Ronde area in 1951, Carl spent
some time in the service, then the couple bought five acres
in LaGrande and raised their family. They were excited when
the Grand Meadows opportunity arose. Their acreage sold

into storage and they have been living with Betty's brother
in McMinnville since July. Monday, September 22 was a

lunch at the mealsite with the opportunity to meet new friends
and family. Now they will be able to sit back in their front

yard and watch their new neighborhood take shape, of course
with a picture perfect view of Spirit Mountain in the back
ground! Keep an eye on Grand Meadows, the next home is sched
uled for delivery in October. Feel free to visit the park dur
ing evening hours or on weekends. The Housing Depart
ment asks that the park remain clear during the day so that
workers have plenty of space to set everything up!

factured home park, call Bryan Langley at 879-2469.
