" An Open House is scheduled to intro duce the program in Grand Ronde on May 12 and June 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Molalla Room at 28840 Salmon River Highway. Participants are assisted with ev ery aspect of business ownership through the following components: 1 Instruction business and technical training. The training will be held on June 26 and 27 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. in the Education Classroom, and July 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Molalla Room. 2 On-going Technical Assistance one-on-one business counseling. 3 Locating Appropriate Sources of Operating Funds helping owners secure money needed to buy equipment andor supplies. 4 Marketing Support marketing the business product or services. The "Venture Teams" will consist of three to five women with similar interests to form home-based andor income supplementing businesses. "Venture Out" is seeking women who posses special skills, talents, and abilities found in small business own ers, but who may not consider business ownership because of the large commit ments involved. Business and Personal Development Library The Business Information Center (BIC) features books, audio tapes, and video tapes on marketing, sales and collection, and fi nancial management. Computer Lab and Software Training Training programs and computer classes are offered monthly. The use of the com puter library is available for business related projects like business cards, menus, and access to the Internet.
