March 15, 1997 SMOKE SIGNALS 7 Update on one of our soldiers PFC. Micky Herron (son of Sharon Herron) is currently in the Army at Ft. Riley, Kansas. His proud grandmother wants to let every one know he'll be stationed in Bosnia for 6 months at the end of March. Micky will be part of Delta Company while in Bosnia. He has been un dergoing intensive training for the past 2-3 months. before shipping out. He is excited to be going, probably because he hates Kansas (ha.ha). We'll all miss being able to talk to him as often as we like (phone calls are $1.50 per minute). Our prayers will be with him for his safety and well being.
