March 15, 1997 SMOKE SIGNALS DRUM AND DANCE PRACTICE 4 Salem area Nanitch' Sahallic wel comes the public to share in weekly drumming and dance practice. Nanitch Sahallic is a drug and al cohol treatment center for Native American teenagers. The center would appreciate your involvement and support of Native traditions with our young people. Eugene and Springfield area In Eugene on every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria at Lane Community College, the Native American Student Association (NASA) sponsors a potluck and drum night for the community to attend. Everyone is welcome. Please call NASA at (541) 747 4501 for more information. Also, weekly drumming sessions are offered at Springfield High School from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays in the library.
