Special thank you to Royalty
I would like to thank the past and present Royalty and
their parents for the gifts and good wishes presented to me
at the 1996 Royalty pageant and Pow-wow. I am going to
miss serving in the capacity of Royalty Advisor and Chair,
however, I have many fond memories of all the Royalty
and events. Best wishes to the Court and Committee.
Sincerely,
Camille Mercier
Craft class update
The 1996 craft classes were very successful. Classes ran
from March through August. Participants made breast
plates, chokers, necklaces, moccasins and pouches. The
craft class is sponsored each year by the Pow
wow and Royalty committees. Many fami
lies were able to learn the basics and continue
on their own to make their own regalia. Look
for craft class to begin again spring ol 1997.

New employee at clinic
Hello, my name is Sharon Hcrron (Ncault). I was born
in Toledo, Oregon and resided in that area until 1986, when
I moved to California. I re
turned three weeks ago to
fill the position of CNA at
the tribal health clinic.
It is great to be home and
be with my people again. I
hope to be an asset to the
clinic, the Tribe, and the
community. I look forward
to meeting you!

Continue this step for the next 8 rows down the spacers.

NOTES: Take special care with infants
wearing breast plates. They love the feel of
the shell and hair pipe beads and often want to
place the breast plate in their mouths. The
breast plate size can be modified to fit bigger
children by increasing the size of the hair pipe
beads and spacers.
