POSITION REPORTS TO: Department Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Administrative Services
JOB LEVEL: 3 CLASSIFICATION: Nonexempt
CLOSING DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 1 996
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To contribute to the Tribe's mission of improving the
quality of life for tribal people by assisting the department in providing
administrative support for tribal divisions, courteously and accurately answering
the main telephone lines and performing a variety of clerical duties for the Finance
Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or
equivalent with the ability to read and write simple information, and add and
subtract simple numbers. Must have at least one year work experience in
bookkeeping or secretarial positions working for multiple executives or functions.
SPECIAL LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to operate standard office machines and personal computers.
2. This is an entry level positions and will be filled by a tribal member unless no
tribal members apply.
Business Development Specialist II

DIVISION: Small Business Development
POSITION REPORTS TO: Division Manager
JOB LEVEL: 10 CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
CLOSING DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 1996
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Is a member of a multi-disciplinary team whose objective
is to create an environment that stimulates productive employment opportunities
for tribal members through the growth of tribal member business enterprises.
Provides professional consulting services to tribal members who are business
owners or prospective business owners, thereby supporting the Tribe's mission of
improving quality of life and self-sufficiency of its members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Bachelor's degree in
business administration and accounting with 3 years of experience in the business
management field.
SPECIAL LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1 . Valid Oregon Driver's License and safe driving record.
2. Native American employees preferred, knowledge of Native American culture
required.
