Important Energy Assistance Information: The Polk County Energy Assistance Program has received additional monies for distribution to Polk County residents. If you fall within the income guidelines listed below, you may be eligible for Energy Assistance. The Tribal Family Action Program (TFAP) is currently taking names only and will contact all who call in before their appointment. Contact Pam Warren, secretary for TFAP and leave your name, phone number and mailing address. We will place your name on a list that will be faxed to the Polk County Energy Assistance Representative who will check to see if you've received in the past. This is a time for you and others who have diabetes to share information and to learn new ideas. We will be offering snacks and recipe ideas. This group is open to anyone. On NT, Novell & Unix plat forms. The networks operate within LAN & WAN environments sup porting a multi-disciplined government entity. Primary function is to provide andor modify software solutions for client tracking; demographic, topological, patient care and services, etc. for statistical and reporting purposes. Secondary function is to provide maintenance support for the LAN'S, WAN and peripheral equipment and to train Users on soft ware programs. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer SciencesProgramming and a certification as a Novell Network Engineer or Certified Network Administrator. With a minimum of three to five years direct work experience in a multi disciplined environment provid ing software support utilizing Paradox (Windows), Access, Oracle, MSM or SQL and computer network operating systems support on Novell, Unix, and NT. KNOWLEDGE OF: Considerable knowledge of program support utilizing Paradox, MSM, SQL, DOS and Window applications on Novell and Unix platforms. ABILITY TO: Ability to organize and maintain records; maintain effective working relationships with other staff members and vendors; respond quickly and efficiently to staff requests; communicate effectively both orally and in writing. SKILL IN: Trouble shooting and resourcefulness. Assessing problems and effective solutions in computer applications. OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Software development & support effective solutions in computer applications. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid Oregon Driver's License and safe driving record.
