The idea seems to be that if someone quits school, they can almost immediately get their GED. Some people can, some can't Most people will have to work to earn their GED diploma. Earning a GED is not easier than completing high school. The tests are set up so that only 70 of graduating high school seniors would pass. This means that a person wanting hisher GED is going to have to study for it The skills which are taught in twelve years of school are the same skills needed in order to pass the GED test One out of six people with high school diplomas got them by passing the GED test Those people should be very proud of their achievements. They have worked hard, and reached a goal. Few really important goals are accomplished without a constant effort People really expect to pay for their house or new car immediately, but make payments over a period of years. Getting your GED is the same process lots of steps, until you finally, reach your goal: a diploma!
