Pow-wow Videos Still Available
A reminder that Pow-wow videos are still available
to buy through the Grand Ronde Tribe. Contact Mychal
Childers in the Social Services Department for more
information or an order form.
Also for sale are 1993 professional photographs of
pow-wow events. Contact Jim Shriver at (503) 434-5250
for a viewing appointment There are dozens of photos of
Grand Entry, dancing, and other events!
Craft Class Continues
Craft class will be held at the Depot at 6:00 P.M.
starting Monday, February 2 1, and will continue to be held
on the third Monday of every month through April. If you
would like to volunteer or need more information contact
Camille or Mychal at 876-5067. Note: Children must be
accompanied by an adult.
BINGO Is Big!!!
You can play Bingo every Friday night in Grand
Ronde at the Community Center. It begins at 6:00 P.M.
There are concessions, pull tabs, blackout, and more!

Bigbuck Timber Sale (Pending)
Notice for sale of timber, Grand Ronde reservation, Bigbuck
Logging Unit, located in portions ofSections, 8, 9, and 15, Township 5S, Range
8 W, Willamette, Meridian, Yamhill County, Oregon. Sealed bids, in duplicate,
should be marked "Proposal for Timber Bigbuck Logging Unit" and addressed
to the Natural Resources Manager, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde,
26930 Salmon River Highway, Willamina, Oregon 97396. They will be
received until 1 :00 P.M., March 1, 1 994. Oral bidding will take place at the
Grand Ronde Tribal Community Center, 9615 Grand Ronde Rd., Grand
Ronde, Oregon 97347, at 2:30 P.M. March 1, 1994. Sealed bids may be
submitted in person prior to oral bidding at the Community Center from 1 :30
2:30 P.M.
This logging unit contains approximately 94 acres to be logged
with a timber volume of approximately 2,832,000 board feet sawlogs of all
species consisting of an estimated 2,832,000 board feet of Douglas Fir and
other conifers Peeler and Sawmill Grade Logs and a predetermined volume
of 26,000 board feet of Red Alder and other liardwoods-Peeler and Sawmill
Grade Logs, Wood Logs, and other wood products. The above stated volumes
are estimates and are not guaranteed. Each bidder must state the price per
thousand board feet, Scribner Log Scale, that will be paid from timber cut and
scaled from this unit
DOMESTIC MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENT:
All sawtimber from this sale shall be restricted for primary
manufacture in the United States. This sawtimber is not subject to substitution
laws. Deposits in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, or
postal money order drawn payable to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde
intheamountof $61, 000 must accompany each sealed bid. The deposit of the
high bidder, and of others who submit written requests to have their bids
considered for acceptance will be retained pending acceptance or rejection of
the bids. All other deposits will be returned The deposit of the successful
bidder will be applied as part of the purchase price to against timber cut on this
unit, or retained as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the contract
and furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the amount of one hundred, one
thousand dollars ($101 ,000) within thirty (30) days of acceptance of their bid.
