Meetings are usually scheduled for the first Sunday of every month, but this month the meeting will be held Sunday, September 12 because of the Labor Day hohday , Meetings are conducted by Tribal Council and are designed to inform tribal membersofcurrentissues and events theTribeis involved with. New Transportation Plan TheBureauofIndianMairs,inconjuncuonwiththeConfederatedTribesofGrand Ronde Public Works Division', have drafted a transportation plan. This plan is available for public reviewcomment, and will be available at the Tribal Development office A public meeting will be held in the Community Center on September 3 at 10:00 A.M. Nanitch Sahallie Employee of the Month: Linda Jirek Linda Jirek was selected Employee of the Month by her co-workers at Nanitch Sahallie Youth Treatment Facility. She is the Administrative Assistant to the Program Director, and has been working at Nanitch for seven years. "My job is to basically help everyone in the office," she said. Linda was raised in Raycene, Wisconsin, and attended college there, as well as in the Northwest. She is an enrolled tribal member of the Oneida Tribe. She has previously worked for Chemawa Indian School, located near Nanitch Sahallie.
