Going Home
Tribal Member Fremond F. Bean passed away
September 10, 1992 at his home in Salem. His family would
like to express their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who
helped them through their grief. To father Jim, Gilbert
Towner, Siletz Singing and Dancing Drum, Bill Wilson,
Cemetery Committee, Butch LaBonte, Buddy Haskins and
the grave crew, Wilmadene Butler and all the kitchen staff,
all of the people who brought food and flowers, and others
not mentioned here. We do not intentionally forget you
from our hearts we would like to say this: "Perhaps you sent
a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a
floral piece, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the most
kind words, as any friend could say, perhaps you were not
there at all, but thought of us that day. Whatever you did to
console our hearts, we thank you so much for the part you
played."
sincerely, t
The Bean Family

Medicine Wolf Can and Bottle Drive
MEDICINE WOLF ALUMNI is a group of people
in recovery from drugs, alcohol, co-dependency, abuse
dysfunctional behavior , or any combination of the above.
Through the Aftercare process, some people in
recovery formed an alumni fellowship. From this alumni
group it became evident that there are needs for people in
recovery other than a support network. There are needs for
housing, jobs, child care, and community interaction to help
people gain self-esteem that was lacking before treatment
and the recovery process.
MEDICINE WOLF ALUMNI is dedicated to
support those in recovery. The members work to do this
through encouraging a drug and alcohol free life-style, and
supporting healthy living activities.
Currently, MEDICINE WOLF ALUMNI is
promoting a can and bottle drive to help raise money for their
organization. The drive will be on-going for everyone's
convenience. All cash donations are welcome as well. For
more information contact Kelly at 876-2423.
