THANKS AND FAREWELL
SENIOR QUEEN DEANA GARDNER
I have really enjoyed being Miss Grand Ronde this
year because it has been an experience which I will
never forget. I am very happy that I have been able to
meet many new people and learn so much about the
history and tradition that we all share. I would strongly
like to encourage any of the young women in our tribe
who are thinking about running for Royalty Court to do
it. I know you would have a great time and make pur
tribe proud.

JUNIOR QUEEN COURTNEY GALLIGHER
As the end of my reign as Junior Miss Grand Ronde
approaches, I don't think of it as an ending.
Representing my tribal youth at various events has been
lots of fun and a learning experience. I have grown
socially and spiritually as a young Indian girl. For the
support 1 have received from my tribe, the many friends
young and old, and my family, I am truly grateful. I
look forward to the Pow-wow with the hope that you can
join us.
