My name is Cecile (CeCe) Kneeland and I am the new Education Administrative Assistant. I attended school at Western Oregon State College, majoring in Social Science with a minor in Education. I am a tribal member, and I look forward to helping meet the educational needs of our people. Currently, I am working on Early Childhood Education in our Tribal Education Department. I am coordinating a joint project with Yamhill County Community Action Agency to establish a Head Start program b Grand Ronde through an expansion grant. Future plans also call for establishing a child care program for the 1992-1993 school year. I am the mother of three children ages 2, 4, and 6. I believe that instilling a sense of pride in their culture and heritage at an early age will prove beneficial in the long run. My interests include all aspects of Native American culture and heritage. I enjoy beading, painting, basketry, and other arts and crafts. I look forward to working with you all.
