RESPONSIBILITIES:
To maintain a secure environment for adolescents in
an intensive residential substance abuse program. To
follow and carry out the plans during the designated
work schedule that will insure the well-being of the
adolescents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School DiplomaGED
Two years experience in working in a adolescent
residential setting.
-Must be flexible to work varied shifts, weekends,
holidays.
-Ability to follow treatment protocol and maintain a
client log.
-Current CPR certification or must be able to obtain
within 14 days of hire.
-Must have valid Oregon Driver's License.
-Knowledge and understanding of Indian culture and
customs demonstrated by working with Native Ameri
cans. -Three references required for employmentexperi

POSITION: Accounting Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for providing support
to the Controller by daily supervising accounting staff,
reviewing payroll, overseeing month end and general
ledger entries, and assisting with audits.
DUTIES:
-Review check requests and check run prepared by
accounts payable staff. .
-Reviewoversee semi-monthly payroll preparation.
-Close general ledger, run reports.
-Handle resolve vendor problems, etc.
-Help prepare financial statementsfootnotes.
-Prepare year-end reconciliations, closures.
-Maintain inventory and depreciation schedule.
Assist in the preparation and scheduling of the yearly
audit.
-Bank reconciliations.
-Review general ledgertrial balance monthly.
-Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Accounting degree or 5 years of progressively respon
sible experience in full cycle bookkeeping, fund
accounting experience preferred.
-Experience using Lotus 123, Paradox, and AccPac
software.
-Valid Oregon Driver's License.
-Experience working with Native Americans

TITLE: Health and Human Services
Administrative Assistant
SALARY: $17,000 - $23,000 annually
REPORTS TO: Health & Human Services Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of administrative, technical and
secretarial duties in support of the Health and Human
Services branch; does related work as required.
Responsible for routinely and independently perform
ing administrative functions related to the operation of
the Health and Human Services branch. These duties
will require completing tasks at all phases of a depart
mental function. Work is performed under general
supervision with work being reviewed primarily on the
basis of results attained. Incumbent is expected to
carry assignment through to completion with only
unusual or especially complicated tasks reviewed in
detail. Incumbent also serves as office manager.
DUTIES:
-Researches and summarizes information from various
sources into narrative or report format or audiovisual
presentation material of own design.
-Researches and recommends changes in policies and
procedures affecting assigned function.
Provides and receives information of a non-routine,
unique or complex nature; compose necessary corre
spondencereports in response.
Establishes and maintains a variety of files, records
and documents or tracking systems establishes proce
dures where necessary.
-Provides administrative and secretarial services to the
Health and Human Services committee.
-Insures that all office functions are operating prop
erly, representing the interests of the Health and
Human Services Manager in decision making.
-Explains tribaldepartmental policies, procedures and
governing regulations to the public and employees.
-Drafts contractsresolutions; monitors and maintains
related files.
-Researchesrecommends and orders purchases of
( supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum qualification is an Associate's Degree in
scienceart in office administrationmanagement or
related field with four years experience, two of which
were served in a supervisory capacity of three or more
employees; or six years related experience and two
years supervisory experience. Prefer a Bachelor's
degree in business management or public administra
tion and two years of progressively more responsibili
ties in the areas of health and human services.

-CleanMop and wax floors and carpet using profes
sional cleaning equipment and product.
-Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 1 year experience in a motel, hospital or
other residential-type care center.
-Must be able to climb a 10 ft. ladder.
-Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
-Knowledge of and the ability to use industrial cleaning
chemicals in a safe manner.
Demonstrate positive role model behavior to adoles
cent clients.
