The youth group meets weekly with Camille VanVleet. The No!, No!, Know! Puppet Presentation provides a culturally sensitive approach towards the prevention of chemical substance abuse among Indian youth. The program encourages student participants to develop a posititve self-image while clarifying their values and attitudes, particularly towards alcohol and drugs. The purpose of the group is to teach the children about alcoholism and what it does to the family unit. The children learn how the disease isn't just it""" ...: I Tamera Ainsworth and Racky Raccoon work things out together the alcoholics problem but the whole family's problem. They through watching movies, talking to each other and other activities. Parents started the group when they wanted to teach their children about the alcohol recovery process. Many of the parents have been involved in recovery and wanted their children to learn about what they were going through. The group meets at the Depot office of Mondays from 8pm to 10pm. Controlling your anger Family members are expected to get angry with each other because they live together. When families don't manage their anger, children may start to resent their parents and look to their peers for the advise, respect, and support they feel they weren't getting from their families. It is okay to get angry as long as you express your anger constructively; like taking a walk, riding a bike, reading a book or something else you enjoy doing. When someone makes you angry, it helps to explain what they did or said that made you angry. Talking openly about what makes you angry will help reduce the chances of that person making you mad again. Here are some steps that might help you to control your anger: Step 1: Stop and think about what you are about to do. Step 2: Ask yourself why you're angry. Step 3: Reduce your anger so you can deal with it constructively. Step 4: Give yourself a reward for controlling your anger. "Hi, I am Racky Rlghteou Raccoon, maybe I'm not right all the time but give me a hand for trying." Cut me out and I'll be a finger puppet for you to talk with.
