PROPOSED EXPENDITURES
Tlxe following budget information is presented
in three (3) broad categories; (1) Government,
(2) Social, and (3) Economic Within each of
these categories multiple program budgets occur
and within each program budget multiple
budgetary line items may appear to make up the
total program expenditure picture for any par
ticular program.
Budget category descriptions:
GOVERNMENT .
This category includes the Tribal Council and
Committee, Management and Administration,
Facilities and Maintenance, Equipment Acqui
sition, Legal and Professional costs and a
Contingency fund.
SOCIAL
This category includes all tribally contracted
programs, most which provide specific services
' to the members. These programs include all
education, social service, health, alcohol and
drug, housing, enrollment and fishwildlife
newsletter, tribal court, and the youth primary
residential treatment service activities.
The main funding sources include the Bureau of
Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Services.
This category also includes the annual trust
fund expenditures for health, education and
housing. Funding for the trust funds come from
tribal timber revenues.
ECONOMIC
This category includes forestry management
economic development, landbuilding acquisi
tion and capital improvement costs.
