HEALTH PROGRAM NEWS
This is a reminder to all Contract Health Service

has clinic three times a week and a full time dentist, for
those eligible for CHS and direct care. It's nearing the
end of the fiscal year and contract health money is
running short. Contract Health docs require all eligible
members that live within a 30 mile radius of the tribal
clinic to use the tribal health clinic. CHS cannot pay for
routine physicals or exams, immunizations, well child
exams or routine pap smears, those services arc avail
able through the Tribal clinics, Chcmawa clinic or the
public health department. If there are specific proce
dures or problems the Nurse Practitioners, Bette or
Margaret, will refer out to hospitals or specialists.
Also, please remember that emergency room visits arc
reviewed for priority level I (loss of life, limb, or senses)
services. To insure payment please remember to mail in
authorized medical bills and Explanation of Benefits
(EOB) from insurances and Medicare as you receive
them.
Dr. Tammy McClung is the new dentist here at the
Tribal Office and is looking forward to seeing each and
everyone of you eligible to see her. A dental hygicnist
will be available two times a month to clean teeth. Dr.
McClung will be able to provide services typically
received in a private dental office. This service here at
our clinic will also save CHS dollars and provide services
CHS usually can not pay for.
We are sure everyone wants to help save CHS dollars
for those that are really in need of medical services. For
dental appointments and clinic appointments please call

When I was 16 years old, my first job was working at
the Grand Ronde Rest Home.
My interest has always been working with elders and
children. Someday soon, my husband and I would like
to be foster parents!
I hope to see you soon as I get out in the community!
