Ring Family Expresses Thanks Dear Friends, I would like, in some way, to say a word of thanks to "Every Person" that had a part in saying, "Good By," to my precious son. At the memorial services, I tried to go about saying, "Thank You," but I am certain there were many people that I missed. There are no words that can fully convey the appreciation that is in my heart. Your love and kindness will always be with me. May God Bless, Frances Ring AMERICAN INDIAN . Box 3252 Ashland, Oregon 97520 Public Welcome NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL!!! USDA News!! Salem distribution dates are May 14th, 15th and 16th. We are in Salem until our last appointment scheduled is done. Siletz distribution dates are May 20th, 21st and 22nd. It is very important that you keep your appointment! We will be attending a USDA seminar in Albuquerque, New Mexico and need time to complete our monthly reports. Clients Wanted!!! Last year at this time we were serving 600 clients and ran out of food. This year we ordered enough food to feed 650 clients. We are presently serving 525, so if you know someone who needs help please have them call your office or 1-800-922-1399 EXT. 126 and ask for Wanda Belgarde or Sharon Butler. Remember if you are a working client, we deduct 20 percent off of your gross income and use the net to meet the guidelines. Please pick your food up every month. I have to order six months in advance so if you don't pick your food up monthly it cuts down our food orders. We order according to food distributed every three months. USDA gets funded by the number of clients served. Your participation is very important. It effects the amount of food we can give you and the yearly budget that pays the rent on both warehouses. Please call if you have questions about the program. "Smoke Signals" is the monthly publication of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. P.O.
