REVENUES:
The Tribe has four revenue source categories:
Timber Revenues - Earnings from the sale of timber on
the Grand Ronde Indian Reservation. For the 1991
budget year a total of $4.1 million is expected. Of these
revenues, $1.2 million will be set aside as Economic
Development revenues and $400,000 is allocated for
Forestry revenues.
Interest Revenues - Earnings from interest on Tribal
funds. For the 1991 budget year $350,000 is expected.
FederalState Revenues - These are usually contracted
funds to run programs and services. These funds come
from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Indian Health
Service and State of Oregon. For the 1991 budget year,
$3.7 million is expected.
Other- These revenues are estimates on miscellaneous
revenues. For the 1991 budet year, $145,000 is expected.
Total - Total Revenues for 1991 are expected to be $8.3
million.
EXPENDITURES:
Expenditure categories include:
Governmental Expenditures - A detailed breakdown of
these costs are on the following three pages. Total 1991
budget expenditures are proposed of $1.8 million dollars
Social Expenditures - These include direct program
services such as health, education, housing, and etc.
Total 1991 expenditures proposed in this area are $2.4
million.
Economic Expenditures These costs include economic
development activities. Total 1991 expenditures
proposed in this area are $1.1 million.
