February 28, 1987. There will be an open
house from 2-A p.m., a special program of

It is absolutely vital for the continuation
of the USDA Food Program that you assist in
providing the In-Kind by helping with the un
loading of trucks or at the Distribution
Center on distribution days.
Those of you who are able, contact Alan Ham
to have your name put on the list of helpers.
You can do this by calling 879-5253 during
normal business hours.
Since we don't always know far in advance when
the trucks will arrive, it is important to
have a list of people whom we can contact at
short notice to help. Please call and help
us keep this important program available to
all eligible tribal members.
In addition, Jim Butler is willing to pick
up food for those members who are not able to
get to Siletz. If you would like Jim to pick
up food for you, you will be required to pay
a small contribution of $4.00 each to help
Jim pay for his gas to and from Siletz.
If you are interested in this offer, you can
contact Alan Ham at 879-5253, and make your
contribution to him. He will put your name
on the list and give it to Jim prior to the
distribution date. Upon return to Grand
Ronde, Jim will bring the food to your home,
or if you live in an outlying area, he can
make arrangements to meet you. It is import
ant to make your arrangements with Alan Ham
during the week prior to the distribution
date each month.
Jim will be going to Siletz on the 16th, so
contact Alan by the 12th if you would like
your food picked up.
