USDA LETTER OF THANKS On July 10, 1986, three trucks, each weighing over 43,000 lbs. of food each, were unloaded in record setting time at the Salem food distribution warehouse. Our volunteer crew did an excellent Job and we'd like to thank them for their support and back-breaking labor. Assisting with the hand-to-hand unloading were Harold Shelton, Doug Gore, Park Nelson, Jim Willis, Josh Butler, Ab Williams, Ed Koch, Delmer Croy, Glen Croy, and Jim Butler. Diane Lane did her usual great job of shipment receipt.and inventory checks. And the father and daughter team of Bruce and Jolene Poole created space in the warehouse by organizing and restock ing the issuance line. We thank them all very much. A big thanks to Donald Simmons, Stacey Williams, and Randy Martin for their help in unloading the shipment that arrived in Siletz on July 16.
