Education (Continued) Education Activities - upcoming activities that will occur during the next month Include: April 5, 6, & 7, 1986 - NW Indian Youth Conference, Tacoma, WA; April 16- 18, 1986; Oregon Indian Education Conference, Newport, OR. ATTENTION INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS Oregon Indian Education Association (OIEA) has established an Achievement Award fund to assist Indian students in higher education pursuits. This year OIEA will award $100 each to two (2) Oregon Indian high school seniors graduating at the end of the 1985-86 school year. Any Oregon Indian senior is eligible to apply if heshe (a) will be graduating at the end of the 1985-86 school year and (b) will be attending a post-secondary institution following graduation from high school. Students complete an application (available through the Education Specialist) and provide all the necessary information requested on the application to be come eligible for award consideration. APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN APRIL 4, 1986!!! ANNOUNCEMENT Chinook Jargon Classes Sponsored by: The Grand Ronde Title IV A.
