LOOKING GOOD !!! Have you noticed how nice the Cemetery and the Depot grounds look? Well you can thank the Mid-Valley Jobs Council and our Summer Youth workers for that. They will soon finish their work, and will be heading back to school. Cow Creek Descendant Organization' ' Thanks to everyone who believes in, and has supported our endeavor, we have been able to hire Dean M. Richardson, Professor of Law, as a consultant for the organization, to prepare a report outlining our rights and to communicate with the appropriate government officials. The organization is still open for those who want to join. We are asking $10.00 for each descendant enrolled so that we may raise the funds needed to pay the expenses necessary to preserve our. rights. Health Committee The monthly health committee meeting was held August 0, 1984. Committee members present were: Ellen Campbell, Joyce Millsap, and John Lillard. The topic of order was the upcoming Health needs assessment survey. The General Council will be notified when this survey will be started.
