American Indian Law Center, Inc., for law students. A. Students may apply for financial aid from the colleges which have the U.S. Department of Education's major financial aid programs. 5. 19 Tribally Controlled Community Colleges. To assure confidentiality your name is not to be included. The food packets would be distributed to eligible Tribal members and their families, on a monthly basis. (Both Indian and Non-indian dependents are included.) One draw back to the program is, that you cannnot participate in both the food stamp and food distribution program durinp, the same month. You may, however, switch from one program ic another with a month's notice. The eligibility requirements for the commodities project are such that some people wlio do not qualify for food stamp may qualify for commodities. This program will be especially beneficial to the Elders on fixed incomes. Thank-you for spending the time complete this survey. The more accurate our information is on the Tribal members, and the higher the response rate, the more likely we are to receive assistance. If you have any questions please call the Tribal office.
