settlement of the 1853 Cow Creek Treaty claim.

Administrative Report:
The Tribal Council and Stall" are slowly organizing and preparing to begin the Reser
vation Plan. The staff held another two day workshop with seven Council members on the
coast ( Lincoln City ) to review the element of the plan.
The Administration reworked the proposal to IMS. The Health Committee approved the
proposal and Council amended the original resolution. The proposal has been submitted to
II1S.
The Director & Accountant met with the Siletz Agency UIA, Cow Creeks arid Siletz Tribes
to review the Contracting Process lor the next year.
The Grand Rondo Tribe will receive an allocation from the new tribes money, as of this
date we do not know how much. The; Chairperson is checking into the funding on the Washingto
DC level. Depending on the amount, we anticipate starting a few programs for members.
We don't have our needs assessment survey started ( it is part of the Reservation Plan)
as yet. We have inquiries from members about Higher Education assistance (you must be at
least Indian blood ), and calls rogiarding Housing assistance. If you have suggestions
