Titlr. lVa. Indian Education Grand Ronde, Oregon Report for Tribal Newsletter May 6,1981; May 2nd, Marion Eoushie from Center 111, in Seattle Washington came to c.;r Title lVa. Parent Committee Meeting and gave us a workshop on Roles and !frgpon8ihilities of the Officers, Coordinator, and the LEA, She also dis cus eed the old and new proposed regulations and grant applications. She ex plained that we probably won't hear any thine on the grant awards untill Aug upt or September of 8I4, since the government has to first accept a set of J-egulations before they can award the funds for Title lVa, programs. On June 6th, we will bo electing Officers for 198l65 which their terra i&ll begin in September. But by electing them in June, that will give them t:.t summer months to prepure themselves for taking over In September, I urge Cut community to attend this meeting so they can nominate and vote, I would also like to iu k for community resources. Carmen Haug and I will be putting a resource booklet together to keep on file. We would appreaciate yc-ur help.
