have a " slide-type " control switch on tho top. Consumers may identify the recalled units
by looking at the bottom label uf their heater for either I'atton model H F or Sears model
2U1-7208 and the words "M.-.do in Hone Kong". Only the " Patton Heater Plus Fan model
HF-10 and " Sears llect.-r Plus Kan ", mode 201-7208 are involved in the recall. Consumers
owning these heaters an- urr.ed to stop using thorn and unplug them from electrical outlets.
Owners should call Patton at l-8viu-528-6600 Ext. 1722 or CPSC's toll-free Hotline at 1-800-038-CPSC.
The teletypewriter number for the hearing impaired is 1-800-638-8270. To varify
that their heater is one oi the recalled models and to get information for returning heater
to Patton for replacement at no cost.
