Titla lVa. Indian Education March 29- The Grand Ronde Elementary School had an Assembly- The Theater Kask Ensemble. Three performers did short skits using different types tf masks. Some Parent Commit te members attesded. This was interesting since one of the projects fo next years program is; plays and making masks. April It -6th- 9 members of Title lVa and JOM attended the 9th Annual O.I.E.A. Conference in Wilsonville,Ore. We met many interesting people, and attended some very informative workshops. Next years O.I.E.A. Con ference will be held at KAH-NEE-TA in Warm Springs. April 11- Title lVa. Indian Education Parent Committee was held at 6:00p, Reporta wer given by members that attended the O.I.E.A. Conference. Evening classes were announced, Starting April 2lth- Jargon, Dancing, and Drumming classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday for 5 weeks, then there will be 1 week (2 classes), on TueeChinny game and The Gambling song. Thurs. Ledgends and Story Telling. Also a Pot Luck with Indian Poods. The classes will be held at the Grand Ronde Elementary School from 6:00pm to R:00pm. The Instructors will be Eula Petite, Ila Dowd, and Karen Harrison. We only have two reg. pC meetings left this year - May 2 and June 6, Sub Committees will be appointed fcn September, The Tribal Greenhouse has plant starts for sale. At the present time we have Brocolli and cabbage. There will be Tomatoes and Lettuace available at a later date. Watch for the. announcement in the newsletter.
