INFANT CAR SEATS i
Dear Tribal Members: As of January, 1984, a Law was passed that
requires all children under the age of 5 to use some form of car
safety seat. This Law shall be enforced as of July 1, 1984.
There are six (6) Infant Car Seats now available for Tribal member
use at the Tribal Office. These Infant car seats are designed for
use for babies ..up to 6 monthes old.
A request has been made through Northwest Portland Area Indian Health
Board for additional Infant car seats. Tribal members will be kept
informed on outcome of response.
