Sincere sympathy to the families and friends concerning the
passing of Daniel "Dan" Ham on November 24, 1983. Services
will be at St. Therese Church, 1260 NE 132nd, Portland,
Oregon on November 30 at 1:00 PM.
ATTENTION TRIBAL MEMBERS
This meeting is very important to every tribal member. John
Weddle, Manager, Tribal Operations and Bill Smith, Enrollment Officer
from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, U.S. Department of Interior will
be at the meeting. They will explain what procedures have to be
followed in the 45 days after President Reagan signed our HR 3885 bill.
The general benefits that will be available will be outlined along
with eligibility requirements. Each one will also answer any
questions from the audience.

Presiden t Reagan signed our reorganized tribal bill HR 3885 at
2:05 PM PST on jOouWW' 22nd!!! You have probably read all about it
in your local newspaper. But, we are so proud of this reality that
we have to shout it again! and again!
