Merle Holmes
As you can see, two of our tribai leaders are in Washington D.C. working
on behalf of each and every tribal member to begin educating the aides
and Congressional people we will be working with when the final draft
of our Bill is completed. Speaking for members of the staff here, we
wish to take this opportunity to let Marv and Merle know that we are
honored to have them represent their people as they journey so far from
home. We realize their job is a difficult one and have total confidence
that they will be strong and make the right decisions as the contacts are
made with those who we rely so much on for support in Washington D.C.
Too often we take people in Marv and Merle's position for granted and
neglect to give them the recognition they deserve. Marv and Merle, as
you work for your people only two in body in Washington, know you have
the support of many. Thank you both.
