TRIBAL CHRISTMAS GATHERING
The Annual Tribal Christmas Gathering will be held Sunday, December 20, 1981
at St. Michael's Cafeteria in Grand Ronde. Among the activities planned
by the Tribal Council and Title IV Parent Committee aret Dinner, a play,
featuring Title IV students, & Slide Show presentation on terminated
tribes "OUR HEARTS BEAT AS ONE." The cafeteria will be opened at 3;00 P.M.
You are welcome to attend and visit relatives you may not have seen
for a long time. Members of the Council will be available. to answer
questions on our Restoration progress and1 other tribal matters. See

ANA GRANT AWARDED TO TRIBE I
The Confederated Tribes dfGrand Ronde have been awarded a federal
grant . Admini strat ion for Native Americans, Dept. of Health & Human
Services in the amount of $60,000. The monies are being used th fund a ;
Tribal Management and Restoration Project. Other grants received by f ';
the tribe are: Church Women.. United-$5000. for the Enrollment Project
& Campaign for Human Development-$13, 500. to provide the tribe with a
Community Organizer. Staff people hired under these grants arej Marv
