One off the results of the Oregon Legal Services Restoration Work Shop
at the Grand Ronde Tribal Office on November 4, 1981, was the Council
(numbers in attendance and the Enrollment Clerks have put together a
new, more in depth Enrollment Form; We are asking all tribal members
who have requested, received andor returned enrollment forms to
please fill, out the 1981. Enrollment form and return it to our office
a$ soon as possible. The information gathered on these new forms will
bi used In preparing testimony for our Restoration.
A number of these forms will be completed by one of the Enrollment
Clerks or Community Organizer by interviews of Grand Ronde Households
throughout the states asking about needs in areas of education, employ
ifitiriti health, housing, and other needs. All statistics gathered on
these new forms will play a vital' role in our Tribes fight for Restora
tion. Another accomplishment in this Department is a new Enrollment Filing
System so that wa will soon have jail our data more readily accessible.
however, in order to do a better, rjpb ,in locating and identifying Our
reuple we are asking your help in , solving some of the problems we have, en
countered such as ,
(a) Enrollment forms returned with Family Tree incomplete, urn
signed and without a Birth' Certificate attached for each
Grand Ronde member. ;;
(b) Notify Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. of current address
if you've recently moved, Cell us so that we can keep in touch.
(c) New name, if recently married or re-married, let us know here
so we can up-date your file and keep you informed, too.
In this day and age, when money is scarce, (and postage is higher)

have not sent for Enrollment forms, please do so now! Remember, if
you or you i children or grandchildren wish to use any of the benefits
made available to The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde once we regain
recognition you must enroll, now to establish your eligilbility .

A. Applicant was born p.n or before August 13, 1954 and was
entitled on August ,13, 1954, to be on the final member
ship roll but' hisher name was not listed.
B. Applicant was born after August 13, 1954, and is a
descendant of a person whose name appears on the August
13, 1954 final membership roll.
C. Applicant was born after August 13, 1954, and is a descen
dant of a person who is entitled to appear on the August
13, 1954 final membership roll,
in the coining weeks and months, we will be looking forward to meeting
with many of you and filling out the new Enrollment forms. Our Com
